It's been a while. We've all been busy enduring the winter and trying to be productive human beings. It's a work in progress.
We have been slow as molasses on working on our second album. Winter always seems like a good time to get things done, since you can't do lots of other things that you might like to do. But then it turns out that early darkness leads to early drinking of hot toddies and you can figure out the rest. However, we did get it all together to record our song “Mockingbird” and it will be available to purchase March 15th, which is basically right now!
We have several fun shows coming up—a notable one being a live broadcast on WDVX out of Knoxville, Tennessee. They have a daily, two act, lunch hour show, broadcast out of the Knoxville visitor center. (put whatever relevant links here) We are really excited to get to do that. That will be April, 14th at noon and you can listen here (link)
Here in Western North Carolina, February lulled us into a false sense of security and then March came and kicked our behinds. We have had three snows in March. Small ones, but still it affects the morale. Heading (oh so slowly) into April I am looking forward to sunshine, being warm, spring and summer shows, and seeing lots of your faces.
Here is to spring, friends!
